Currently looking for a way to get fired from my shitty ass job so I can claim unemployment for the (hopefully) short time it takes me to get another. I know it sounds shitty, but I’m at the end of my rope.

Let me clarify before people possibly get butthurt.
Yes I’m glad I have a job in the pandemic.
HOWEVER, my hours were cut severely, the amount of orders we’re doing has probably doubled, we are short staffed due to now working in teams, and we are treated like GARBAGE.

I got stuck with a practically useless crew because my boss figured I could “pick up the slack” since I’m a really good worker. In the meantime I’m babysitting idiots and getting so overwhelmed with orders because IM THE ONLY ONE DOING ANYTHING.

I’m literally at my wits end. I was so overwhelmed last night I was shaking. I’ve worked food service for years and that almost never happens. And my kitchen manager wasn’t doing shit and getting mad that we were giving hour waits when I had a fairly large STACK of orders.

I know y’all don’t care, I’ll probably delete this thread anyway. BUT just remember that corporations like this one are GARBAGE and treat you like GARBAGE.
