여러분 안녕하세요👋🏻

Though I am still a beginner in 한국어 (Korean language) I would like to share to you guys the resources that I find very helpful and highly recommended by others as well. ☺️📝

-Thread-
📝 First here are the apps that I use. I used Duolingo as well but the pace was a bit too slow for me. So you guys can still check it out since it has other languages included in it.
📝I prefer to use "papago" or the naver translator because the translation is more accurate. It can also translate the sentence into honorific (존댓말) or casual (반말) speech and has explanations from the Naver dictionary. You can translate to other languages too. ++
📝++ On the Papago app there are other features too which you can translate an image with Hangul (한글) And my favorite one is the "Papago mini" in the settings where you can copy any text and it automatically translates it. 😁
📝Next app I really use is Eggbun for some practice. Here are some of the contents of the app. It's free but there's also a premium subscription for more contents. I subscribed recently because it was 60% off worth 3 months of premium 😄
📝I enjoy the lessons on the app Coursera. It has good explanations on each lessons plus it is made by Yonsei University. Though there are only a couple of courses for beginners, here are the 2 courses I am enrolled in.
📝Next is the Korlink app which is the app by Talk to me in Korean. It has different levels and each one has multiple lessons. This one is very useful after you are more familiar with 한글 Because it's focused more on dialogues and speaking practices. ++
📝++ It has a free pdf and audio files for you to go along with the lessons. I will also share to you guys the compiled pdf of all lessons at the end along with other files I have thru google drive links ☺️
📝Another one I use for vocab practice is this app. It has sets of words you'll memorize per day and it has a test mode for you to practice your vocabulary. 🤓
📝Last app I can also recommend for vocabulary is this flashcards maker. If you prefer to customize, this is a nice & simple app. It can switch sides just like an actual flashcards. Also it's eco-friendly & convenient. 😄
📝Moving on to other resources I use is this website https://www.howtostudykorean.com/

This one I highly recommend for absolute beginners. It explains the basics really well & what you need to focus on as beginners. It also has short practice tests after each lesson with rationale.
📝Howtostudykorean has some free pdf workbooks but the rest are not free. But they are all available online. Plus on the website it has audiofiles included in each lessons 😊
📝Before I share the files, would like to include some video lessons that helped me while learning the alphabet.
1. Miss Vicky - she explains each lessons in her video really well. Beginner friendly and has some live classes too. 👍🏻 https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLECz2rpRD3Z0W9QQzvPb3KtVYm1gtphv_
📝2. Learn Korean with Go! Billy - I first learned hangul through his videos and really helped me get started.

3. This one helped me with the pronunciations for the difficult letters.
📝4. I forgot to mention Talk to me in Korean also has a youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/talktomeinkorean

5. @2KoreanTeachers they have livestream classes 3x per week w/ diff levels. I had my first class earlier & they are very interactive w/ the students. 😊 https://m.twitch.tv/2koreanteachers/profile
📝Here are the files I compiled in one folder. The Sejong book is what we used in the class earlier. There is another folder inside which has some worksheets for writing, vocab & grammar which was shared to us by my moot Steph, but she's inactive for now.

So yeah that's probably it. 😄 I know there are a lot of resources you can find, just go with what fits your learning pace/style. 😊
-Bonus tips- 🤓📝
🌸Be determined and focused. I know it's hard especially if you have acads/work but just believe in yourself you will learn the language well.
🌸Practice. This is very essential because through it you'll get better.
🌸Take your time. We all have different styles of learning so don't be too pressured if someone is ahead of you. Make that an inspiration. Remember they started as absolute beginners too. ☺️
🌸Set your goals & priorities.
🌸Have study buddies. It's great to have someone ++
++ who is also studying with you in that way you can practice with one another. Or if you have any Korean friends try talking with them in Korean so you can practice too. For me I get help from friends who are more advanced than me 😄 안녕 @ellaahgase @iridejww
😄
P.S I'll just include Joshua's advice to all of us ☺️💕 Enjoy learning.
