/2 Some highlights: #ZhuYilong: I fell in love with acting after I met a good teacher (Cui Xinqin). I wasn't formally trained in acting, and I was quite reserved & shy by nature. She encouraged me greatly in my 1st & 2nd year, and suddenly I felt that I can do this. #朱一龙

/3 #ZhuYilong on his uni days: "I asked my teacher why did they accept me at Beijing Film Academy? They said that it was because I was like a piece of white paper - I didn't know anything. Besides, I didn't have any bad habits, so it would be easy to teach me. #朱一龙

Q: Yes, what did you use?
Z: Stones... IDK, I found it fun...

/5 Post-subbing note: When #ZhuYilong spoke with the reporter on Jun 11 (Day of #Guardian's press conf), I don't think anyone was expecting the popularity of the show. By the time this interview was released on Jul 2, the show and our dear male leads ZYL and BY have shot to fame.

/6 Therefore, I thought that it was nice of the reporter to emphasize that #ZhuYilong has been working hard as an actor for many years (esp by allowing ZYL to talk about his diff roles since '09) & that he shouldn't be considered as a case of achieving fame overnight. #朱一龙
