In February 2004, Rennes & Chelsea agreed a deal for Čech worth £7 million. The contract would commence in July 2004. At the time, this made Čech the most expensive goalkeeper in Chelsea's history.
Before Čech arrived at Chelsea, Cudicini was Chelsea's number one, before suffering an elbow injury in pre-season which saw Čech being promoted to the No1 spot.

Čech made his Premier League debut against Manchester United on the 15th August. Keeping a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.
In the same season, Čech set a then, Premier League record of not conceding a goal for 1024 minutes.

Čech helped Chelsea win their first title in 50 years. Seeing him keeping 24 clean sheets and only conceding a mere 15 goals.

He was awarded the Premier League Golden Glove.
The 05/06 season had the same ring to it. Seeing Čech & Chelsea retaining the Premier League, with Čech playing in 34 league matches and keeping 18 clean sheets.

In January 2006, he was named the IFFHS World's Best Goalkeeper for 2005.
The 2006/07 season was close to being Čech's last one. Chelsea faced Reading on the 14th October at the Madejski Stadium. Čech collided with Hunt inside Chelsea's penalty area within the first minute. He was stretchered off the pitch and underwent surgery for a skull fracture.
Not only was Čech close to not playing Football again, he was extremely close to losing his life.

Chelsea manager Mourinho blamed Hunt for Čech injury, saying that his challenge was "a disgrace".

Amazingly, Čech returned home on the 24th October 2006.
He made his return against Liverpool in a 2-0 loss on the 20th January.

On 11 April 2007, Čech was awarded the Premier League Player of the Month for the first time in his career, in recognition of his eight successive league clean sheets.
He did appear in the FA Cup Final against Manchester United where he kept a clean sheet in a 1-0 win.

Not to forget him winning the League Cup against Arsenal in a 2-1 win.
The 2007/08 season started off with a win for Chelsea & Čech. Managing to beat Birmingham, 3-2.

The season saw Čech suffer from a few injures. Including the ankle injury he sustained before the game against Olympiacos in the Champions League.
Čech went under the knife again. This time on his chin and lips after colliding with Tal Ben Haim during training, which required 50 stitches.

Čech made his return on the 14th April and later appeared in the Champions League final against Manchester United which Chelsea lost.
After signing a new contract in July 2008. Čech started the season on fine form, playing 17 games which only saw him concede 7.

His 100th game later came for the club in a 5-0 win over Sunderland.

He was once again the hero when he helped Chelsea beat Liverpool 3-1 in the CL
Chelsea were later knocked out of the 08/09 Champions League and even though they had the joint-tightest defence in the Premier League along with Manchester United, Chelsea finished third in the table.
Čech may have conceded the fastest goal in FA Cup Final history, but that didn't matter as he helped win 2-1 against Everton. His seventh trophy with the club.

Čech & Chelsea started the 09/10 season as they ended the previous, by winning the Community Shield, beating Man Utd.
On the 26th September 2009, Čech was sent off again Wigan. Prior to this, he was in goal for Chelsea's sex-match unbeaten start. He made his return on the 17th October, losing 2-1 to Villa.

Later the season on the 13th April, he kept his 100th clean sheet in the Premier League
Chelsea ended the season with winning the Premier League & FA Cup. Čech was also awarded with his second Golden Glove Award.
The 2010/11 season saw Chelsea go trophy less. There was a couple of personal milestones for Čech however. On the 7th March, he made his 300th appearance for the club, facing Blackpool which saw the blues win 3-1.

He was also awarded the Chelsea Player of the Year award.
At the beginning of the 2011/12 season, Čech struggled with injury, missing four weeks due to a knee injury sustained in training.

He kept a clean sheet in Chelsea's first CL match in a 2–0 win over Leverkusen.
Later on he marked his 250th league appearance for Chelsea with a clean sheet, in a 0-0 draw against Tottenham.

After helping Chelsea reach the champions League Final, Chelsea faced Bayern Munich. In extra-time and Čech was the hero, saving a penalty against Robben.
In the penalty-shootout, he was once again the hero, saving two and helping win his & Chelsea's first Champions League!

Prior to winning the CL, they won the FA Cup, beating Liverpool 2-1. Čech famously saved Carroll's powerful header, pushing it onto the underside of the bar.

The 2012/13 season didn't start off as they wanted. Losing against Manchester City in the Community Shield, and losing against Atletico Madrid in the Super Cup.
Chelsea & Čech didn't go trophy less though, as they beat Benfica in the Europa League Final 2-1. Cech played in all 9 games, conceding 10 goals.

In all comps he made 63 appearances, keeping 20 clean sheets and conceding 74.
October 19th 2013 marked the date Čech made his 300th Premier League appearance. This came in a 4-1 win against Cardiff City.

On 11 January 2014, he kept his 209th clean sheet for Chelsea in all competitions in a 2–0 away win at Hull City, beating the club record set by Bonetti.
Čech finished the season as the joint winner with Wojciech Szczesny for the Premier League Golden Glove.

After being Chelsea's No1 for so long, the 2014/15 season saw Čech lose his spot to Courtois. The season would only see him make 16 appearances.
He was in the 2015 League Cup final against Tottenham Hotspur, keeping a clean sheet in a 2–0 victory to win the trophy for the third time in his career.

After 11 years at Chelsea, on the 29th June 2015, Čech left Chelsea for a reported fee of £10 million to join Arsenal.
