A KNOWLEDGE ADDICT REVEALS:

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD DO TO MAKE THE MOST OF ANY TRAINING OR COURSE YOU PAY FOR...

... Never waste money again...

I am guessing you are planning to pay for a course soon.

That is great.

A time of crisis is not a time for guess work.
It is a time for clarity and deliberate action.

It is almost like a standard situation that if 30 persons take the same course, less than 50% get to succeed with it.

What are 5 things you should do to make the most of that course you intend taking?
Before we look at them, it is important to explain the difference between a course/training and a coaching program.

A course is basically an information material.

It presents information that you can apply to whatever problem you may be facing.
Coaching on the other hand involves guidance.

Training course is focused on transfer of knowledge, while a coaching program is focused on execution of said knowledge.

The keyword that marks the difference is ACCOUNTABILITY.

With a course, there is little or no accountability
But with coaching, there is accountability.

Understanding this difference from the get go will help you maximize whatever program you pay for.

So what are the five key things to do to get value for your money?

1. Understand what you are paying for.

This is important.
Are you paying for a course or a coaching program?

Of course, a course may promise support, but it can not be compared to what you get in a coaching program.

So the first thing you should know is what you are actually paying for.
2. Create an execution plan.

I recently paid for a quite expensive training and the first thing we were good to do was to create an execution plan.

Remember that the course is simply going to transfer the information to you.

The job of execution now lies with you.
Your execution plan should have columns for small daily tasks and results from those tasks.

3. Focus on one thing at a time.

So you've paid for a course on copywriting. Then you cone on Twitter and see someone say they made x million from facebood ad agency, you jump ship.
And while you are still at that one, you see another person who says he made x million from ecommerce, you jump ship again.

After paying for several courses without result, you call them scam or thrash.

No sir.

Those people have spent years perfecting their craft
You can't spend one day and expect same result.

You must stay focused on that training to be sure you have milked it.

4. Set a goal.

This should be the first thing you do.

What is your goal for taking this course?

How much do you want to make with it?
What level of expertise do you want to attain and in what time?

Without a clear goal, you will not be able to measure your progress.

5. Execute immediately.

This is the best part.

A training course may take you 4 days to finish. There are two ways to use it
If it is a video course, you can quickly watch through it all to have a hang of the entire course.

Then return to start executing step by step.

Or, you can start executing as you learn.

Execution is where the money is.

Not learning.

Learning brings about transformation
Execution leads to riches.

Sometimes, it may be just one module in the whole course that will bring you the result you are looking for.

But you can never know until you execute it.

I'll add one more:

6. Look for a way to become accountable.

Something happened yesterday.
@HQawiyy said he was going to build a funnel in 50 minutes and he did it in 40.

That is what accountability can do for you.

Once you put yourself in that tight corner, you are forced to act and not disappoint.

In my copywriting program, I paired the students in groups of twos
Everyone has a partner. This keeps them accountable.

We also hold contests and each winner gets a star and a reward in the end.

Another one is when someone asks me a question, I pick a student who knows it to answer the person.

The result is that everyone is happy to learn and
execute.

You could call up your friend and say

'hey Peter, I am undergoing this training. On Monday, can we talk about all I have learnt and practiced?'

You could also tell them what you intend to do and achieve before then.

This will push your mind to act.
Use these strategies and observe how your performance improves.
