I’ve cancelled at least a dozen flights since March. Here’s some advice if you need to fly in this age of uncertainty- say, the next 12 months or so: book directly with the airlines themselves and avoid third party booking sites such as @Expedia @priceline @CheapOair @Orbitz etc

Getting refunds or credits when using these services is nearly impossible, costly and time consuming. Also, pay a little extra for refundable tickets, flight protection, insurance, etc.
