Praying 5 times a day is such a valuable tool to ground you in the present!! Seriously so many tools to live a healthy life are in these ancient spiritual practices it’s so cool
To expand: when someone speaks about mediation the idea isn’t to be enlightened by some weird calling. It’s to remind yourself that everything outside of that present and exact moment is meaningless currently. All you need to do is focus on now. Islam says do that 5 times a day
Throw in fasting: Fasting is an incredible grounding mechanism!! For the most part by the 2nd week of Ramadan we will all be functioning pretty normally if not BETTER without food in our stomach. After iftar we will be more sluggish. We made eating 2 much normal LOL
So I’m not going to say you will find happiness through religion or god or whatever you want to believe in. BUT it is seriously crazy to think something over 1000 years old(?) has had the inside info of being a pretty normal healthy human
