Same erroneous, uninformed energy in both these screens. This is false. Hoe/heaux is AAVE and is applied to all black (presumed) women and therefore can be reclaimed by all black women. It wasn't coined by sex workers, are y'all 12? It's black slang, not even new

I've literally traced a history of these terms multiple times over and people who [used to] follow me and are aware of my work in this area continue to erase it and make these false claims. Hoe is black slang (AAVE) and is old af. Heaux is creole-AAVE and is more recent.
Sex workers did not "coin" hoe or heaux. You cannot police people on that basis. Hoe and heaux are racialized (and often classed) terms, as are thot, baby mama, and deadbeat dad. Stop being ahistorical just to sound "smart." Someone already did the work for you!
Yes, you can engage in *misogynoir* or misogyny and whorephobia by calling someone a whore, slut, or hoe in a certain context. But to pretend that these terms have not been widely applied to women, to pretend that they only recently came into existence is dishonest/incorrect.
