In a surprising turn of events, we enter the final day of the #NFLDraft
https://abs.twimg.com/hashflags... draggable="false" alt=""> w/ a number of intriguing options at QB still on the board (Fromm, Eason & Morgan) & realistically, w/ only a handful of QB-needy teams ahead of us, there& #39;s a good chance for one to fall to the #Bills
While I& #39;m sure that QB may not seem like a "need" for most of #BillsMafia, Beane has stated time & again their strategy is to go w/ BPA. There& #39;s an argument to be made that any of the players I named could not only fall under not just that category, but of MIPA!
What& #39;s MIPA you ask? MOST IMPORTANT POSITION AVAILABLE. Like many of you I am hitching my wagon to Allen in the hopes that he ends up being the first franchise QB we& #39;ve had since Kelly. However, all good GM& #39;s should have a "Break in case of Emergency" QB ready & waiting.
Buffalo is one devastating injury away from Matt Barkley and/or Davis Webb leading this team & I for one am not comfortable with that. I& #39;m a firm believer that there should be a constant, healthy competition at the QB position (egos be damned!).
Which is why I would not be opposed to seeing Beane draft one of the young signal callers listed at the top of this thread at pick 128. Up until recently, the #Bills have been PLAGUED at the most vital position in football & have suffered in mediocrity as a result. NO MORE!
The team should ABSOLUTELY continue to ride the wave of success w/ Allen at the helm for as far as he can take them; but be wise to have a contingency plan in place for #AnyGivenSunday.
