Two Leaders from two different world. Julius Malema born on 3March, 1981(39) in Sebihego-B, Polokwane Province of Republic of SouthAfrica is the Leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) political party in South Africa while Omoyele Sowore born 16 February 1971(49)
In Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State, Federal Republic of Nigeria, is the leader of the African Action Congress (AAC) political party in Nigeria. EFF was founded in July 2013 after Julius pulled out of the ANC youth league to form his own Political party
A graduate of the Prestigious University of South Africa (UNISA) and University of Witwatersrand all in SA. He contested SA Presidential Elections in 2014 and 2019 with 6.35%(1,169,259) and 10.79%(1,881,521) respectively.
Omoyele on the other hand is a graduate of University of Lagos, Nigeria and University of Colombia in the United States. He contested to Nigeria Presidential Elections in 2019 with 0.12%(33,953). Sowore was a student Union leader in his days as a student in Unilag
And was very active during the pre Democracy days, working closely with older freedom fighters and activist. He was a leading voice and he is the founder of the online media @SaharaReporters and @SaharaTV1
Julius was also an activist and a strong member of the ANC youth group from 2008 till 2012 when he left to form his own Political party. He learned alot from his Political career and he is using same as the leader of the EFF with 44/400 National Assembly, 11/90 Provincial and
1/5 Pan African Parliament Seat. EFF Student Wing of more than 100,000 registered members.
Sowore's AAC on the other hand has 0/109 Senate 0/360 House of Representative, 0/36 State House of Assembly with unknown number of AAC student wing but numerous number of online followers and diaspora community.
Malema and his Party EFF has been a very strong opposition in the affairs of SA Political and Economical affairs,with conferences, rally, protest & so on against bad leadership &so on. Malema EFF did a joint conference with President @CyrilRamaphosa in the fight against COVID-19
While Sowore having lost Election in May 2019, jetted out of Nigeria, had series of meetings out the shores only to return in July of same year to demand a Revolution promising to unseat a democratically elected government
Malema and his cohorts are asking critical questions that will lead to the people's economy freedom, asking for the land, job for teaming population, fight against xenophobic attack, economical freedom of black and so on
Sowore and his cohorts are asking for economical freedom, quality education, quality health care, infrastructural development, massive agricultural investment, job creation. He recently said he will employ 600k nurses to fight COVID-19, but never explained how possible.
The EFF adopted the Red beret as its brand and a red fabric as it's Uniform which is worn by all it's member and supporters. While AAC recently adopted the Orange beret as its brand but not orange fabric as it's Uniform. EFF has audit department and all his financial activities
Are public and accessible, executive members can be probed and internal democracy is rich and impeccable but AAC has a whole lot of financial secrecy in it's less than three year existence with several financial misappropriation accusations and counter accusations.
Although both are young guys but they don't really have the same drive and passion. One is living in his old glory and past achievement, the other is showing leadership and chatting a good course. God bless @Julius_S_Malema and @YeleSowore
