THREAD: Bob Quinn’s biggest accomplishment as Lions GM ⬇️

Lions haven’t truly invested into the RB position since Barry retired. They’ve had the worst running game in the NFL over that time bc of it.

W/ the selection of D’Andre Swift, that philosophy has officially changed.
The Lions envision KJ-Swift being, maybe even soon, the best RB duo in the NFL. Something so special on its own, that it can be the reason your team is good.

BQ traded up in 2nd to get KJ in 2018. He just spent essentially a 1st-round pick on the best RB in the Draft in Swift.
I think it’s very realistic to believe Swift can be in the same tier as the former recent Georgia RBs — Gurley, Chubb, Sony.

KJ would benefit tremendously from having a potential elite RB1 as a sidekick.

Again, talent wise, this is just a combo DET hasn’t really ever had.
Over the last decade specifically, it’s really been ridiculous the the amount of 1-year stop gaps, waiver wires, practice squad signings, veteran mentors, just bad players this organization has signed at running back.
With literally any bit of luck health wise....

(& keep in mind, having Swift burdens KJ’s workload significantly, which could help big-time with durability.)

.... these 2 guys should absolutely stop all the roster-jugging BS at the position.
These are your guys at RB for the next 4-5 years, & they have a legit chance at being the best combo in the league if it all falls into place.

It can be something that we’ve never seen before. Type of massive-reward move Detroit needs to keep making across its roster
