#BankersUnited What motivated us to get united?? Why we are so helpless to raise voice on dis platform??? @PMOIndia @ChairmanIba @UFBUIndia @AIBOC_ @bankers_we
Thread to present the deteriorating value of the bankers:
1. Dere was a time when the job of a banker was deemed to be the most respectable job.Bankers enjoyed the status of White Collar job.But now, bankers have been reduced to a mere tool of administration where anyone irrespective of their sphere of influence gives order to us bankers
2.We have lost that respect and status neither we get the handsome salary now.Bankers were paid even higher than the IAS officers. No single regulatory authority regulates us today but it's a bunch of different administrations that passes orders to us. @UFBUIndia
3. All d state n central sector employees hv a fixed working hrs. Bankers 2 have such a time bound working hours but only on papers. No one turn an eye to the reality, at several instances, bankers have to work throughout the day and beyond working hours, i.e., 10-5
4.There is no concern even for bankers security in the branch.Thousands of bank branches operate in inaccessible region with poor infrastructure. There are many branches that work without security guards. Are our lives that cheap??? @PMOIndia @UFBUIndia
5. We r bankers n not d recovery agents of some finance companies still we hv to go on the field for the recovery of loans.Officers are met out with inhuman conditions.Dey r beaten blue and black. If dey dont go for recovery, they are blamed for the losses incurred on the bank.
6.There are no laws regarding the bankers safety. No action has been taken against those attacking the officers on recovery till date. Our work is no less than endangering our lives everyday. @PMOIndia @nsitharamanoffc @UFBUIndia @aajtak @ZeeNews
7. Today everyone is asked to stay at homes, they are asked not to step out unnecessarily. But we bankers are working as usual without any relaxation in our working hours. @PMOIndia @republic @ABPNews @ChairmanIba
8. We aren't asking for holidays neither we are using the situation as a tool to bargain rather we have been working beyond http://capacity.As  the work load has increased bcz of the welfare schemes announced in the lieu of CoViD-19. @PMOIndia
9. Work culture of banks has been deteriorating and now it has reached to a point where we bankers are treated as mere slaves. Management takes as much as work it can take from us bankers without even paying a heed to our needs and demands.
10. Banking personnel are also addressed as officers at par with any other govt employees but only for the sake of name.We get less salary than others at same position. @ChairmanIba @UFBUIndia @PMOIndia @nsitharamanoffc
11.When it comes to work n assign new targets, many regulatory bodies come to the fore, giving orders n releasing circulars, which we accept withoutany ifs and buts. But when it comes to our demands like wage revision and others, they start rolling the ball into each other's court
12. Nationalisation of banks was a welcome step dt came with several banking sector reforms, but then came the IBA which was formed for bankers welfare but in reality it came out to be the tool of administration's http://hand.It  has been working anti to our welfare
13. There is no transparent and reliable procedure for the transfers. This too has been used to harass the employees. If someone raise their voice against the injustice being met to them, they are transferred to inaccessible branches. @UFBUIndia
14. We have been meted out with such inhuman work conditions for so long. And the failure of the IBA and the union has compelled us to come forward, unite and raise our demands ourselves. @ChairmanIba @UFBUIndia @DFS_India
