x1’s mistreatment by everyone - a thread
Let’s start from the beginning!! As we know MNET’s controversy happened a little after X1’s debut. But instead of having a normal promotions as a rookie group, X1 lost all their brands and this happened JUST FEW DAYS AFTER THEIR DEBUT
Right away, they were accused of plagiarism, again multiple times! There was even a saying that they plagiarised even their greeting!! These’s even a video in yt how X1 plagiarised Loona’s concept about the butterfly
Let’s not talk about all music shows that cancelled x1’s appearances!! If i remember right, they attended only few music shows!!!
After LONG LONG time with them being in hiatus (they wasn’t even allowed to post selcas) we had an official statement that X1 and Iz*one’s activities will be resumed!!
But that’s not the thing that made us happy, no! Mnet continued to hide behind X1’s backs!!! Watching them getting hate, being disrespected and they DID NOT DO ANYTHING
As we know MNET treasures their produce groups!! But this time they decided to cancel X1’s appearance on MAMA! Instead of taking all the consequences of their OWN CRIME they decided again to hide behind member’s backs and act clueless
Now music award shows!! It was a mess, it was a mess! But we were more concerned about MMA who didn’t give the rookie award to X1 who was the only rookie group to top their charts in 2019!! And their excuse was the attendance.
They apologized yet they cancelled their appearance on VLIVE awards which was their only attendance on a music show for months!!!!! A lot of fans bought tickets just to see them, were traveling to Korea and they cancelled it day before the actual show
We can talk about all music award shows who banned X1 from appearancing AND STILL used X1 as clout
Now moving on to the “absurd” disbandment of the group! Even tho they said they will resume activities, at the end they disbanded them and the method WAS LAUGHABLE
On top of all the members did not even know about the disbandment!! They were clueless and some even found out through the news!!! They didn’t ask about their opinion and just did the thing!
Let’s not talk about the hate X1 was getting EVERY DAY! Beinh called rigged group, wanting their disbandment and even doing malicious comments on them!!
We were cleaning the search every day in here! Members of the group kept getting hate, some people was entering their fancafe and started to do jokes about member’s bodies! And let’s not that about the haters (jobless haters) who was pretending to be oneits and hate on groups!
I wasn’t sure if i should put this here, but even tho they are still rookies, they did work hard and they did not receive anything in return
AND THIS ALL for a thing they did not do!! In the end every single investigation ended and it was clear X1’S FINAL LINE UP WAS NOT RIGGED, NOT EVEN ONE MEMBER!
Even tho the fandom did so many things as offline protests, many many led trucks (that was going around the companies and everyone saw them) and a lot of trended hashtags the companies still said the fandom is “small” and they don’t feel like making an x1 unit!
And beside people calling them fake, awkward, not a real team, they still love each other, even though they went on different paths!
i hope people who used to hate on x1 to read this and understand that it’s not just a “rigged” group and it’s not just their hate comments
And i forgot to add that MEMBERS WAS SEEING THIS ALL THING!!! They sais it themselves! And knowing our boys seeing these hateful comments while we can’t do much hurts us more than anything
I wanted to say all this even since 2019. I once wrote 4 pages wanting to justify x1, to explain it to the people who was talking without even knowing the truth, but i changed phones and lost it all. Now i found a way hope it doesn’t stay unnoticed
