That viral video of the Golden Retriever going #1 inside a house is a damn shame. That dog’s owner must’ve left him inside for 24+ hours for him to do that. Goldens are so easy to train that you can literally house break them before they’re 3 months old, and owners usually get a
puppy at 2 months. We’ve left Tyson inside (not crated) for over 12 hours when he was probably 4 months old, and he refused to go in the house. Dogs don’t have complete control of their bladder until they’re like 6+ months old. It’s the owner’s fault that dog went inside the
house, especially for that long. Screw that dog’s owner. A Golden Retriever deserves a better home and owner than that.

Goldens also have such a people-pleasing personality that the dog in the video probably sulked for hours after getting shamed/scolded like that. Pathetic and
wrong on the owner’s part. Part of the responsibility of being a dog owner is realizing when a dog’s “misbehavior” is genuinely their fault or the owner’s fault. This was 100% the owner’s fault.

Humans just suck sometimes, man. I can’t stand stuff like that.
Deepest apologies for whatever grammatical/spelling/other mistakes may be in this thread. It’s 3:40am and my Adderall is finally wearing off. Lol.
