If you sarcastically say "uwu", "smol bean", or "catgirl" to a trans person.

CONGRATULATIONS!

You're a transmisogynist!
You're saying one of two things

A) You're too feminine.

or

B) Your femininity is performative

That sucks! Stop that! That's the transmisogynist double-bind.

I'm not playing Catch-22 with you.
Now, I know what you're thinking "But I just think it's cringe!" Setting aside we just went over how 'cringe' is your problem and not anyone else's:

WHY do you think it's cringe? Like really interrogate that.

You think it's cringe because it's "soft". It's overly feminine.
And, though this is kind of galaxy brain, even when you sarcastically use them against CIS people you're being transmisogynist.

Misogyny is the system of oppression that values men over women.

Transmisogyny is the system of oppression that values masculinity over femininity.
The difference is subtle, but important. Its why trans women are the main targets of transmisogyny.

When a woman does something feminine, that's one bad.

When a trans woman discards her enforced masculinity she is both performing femininity and destroying masculinity: two bads.
My expressions of femininity are my own.

Don't police them!

It's really that simple!

I will uwu all I damn well please!
And since it's just so damn relevant I guess I will append on my previous thread about "cringe" in general and how that's an internalized shame reaction. https://twitter.com/DevourerRose/status/1252826314760806401?s=20
To all the people stepping out strongly in favor of your right to mock people for their sincere expressions of self:

That's really not a good look.

Grow up.
Whether or not this is transmisogyny is a debate I'm willing to entertain.

Whether or not it's okay is EMPHATICALLY not.

Bullying people for who they are is never okay unless "who they are" is "a bigot" or "a billionaire".
