I am awake and watching a documentary about tropical islands and their weird birds

There’s a bird that uses volcano heat to incubate it’s eggs so that’s neat

Tree kangaroos that is all please look them up

Cassowary!!!!! They’re so weird but cool dinosaur bird I love them

If you never heard a cassowary call please listen to it because oh my goodness

They’re now showing bird mating dances and they’re so weird

The show moved onto gibbons which have lived in the same areas for a really long time they’re pretty cool one just leapt really far

Sumatran rhinos are really hairy because of being closely related to the wooly rhino. They’re also endangered and like mud baths

Liquid sulfur looks cool it’s sparkly and red but then also it burns blue and looks so pretty very toxic but pretty

This one island is so abundant with fruits that the orangutans that live their develop favorite fruits and then pass that on to their offspring

Pitcher plants are wild

Yo some bats will sleep inside this one kind of pitcher plant because it fits just right so it can’t get like eaten by the plant. And then the bat gives back by providing nutrients through its poop

Monitor lizards swim and that’s cool they’re so big and also I understand why people confuse animals for things like mermaids and the like

No one probably cares about this thread but I just think this is neat this show I’m learning stuff from is on Disney plus and they are showing now this little pig called babirusas they’re cute
