The #Cowboys picked Oklahoma DT Neville Gallimore with the 82nd pick in the #NFLDraft .

In 2019, Gallimore finished with 4 sacks and 32 total pressures to go with 13 stops against the run, per PFF. Intriguing player with vertical explosion and a red-hot motor.

This play illustrates Gallimore as a player really well imo. Quickness off the snap enables him to penetrate but you can see the stiffness in his hips as he struggles to pursue laterally to finish.

Still, making the RB alter his path in the backfield is good stuff. #Cowboys
Gallimore pad level swells too much on the club-rip, which dampens the power and quickness. Sloppy spin, but shows off his motor and burst to chase down the QB from behind. #Cowboys
Good stuff from Gallimore here. Attacks the C's snap hand with a strong snatch-arm over. Love how NG gets his hips prematurely turned to facilitate flattening down the LOS to pursue the RB. Still see the stiffness but getting hips turned early enabled him to still have a chance.
Gallimore's stiffness limits his ability to dip and corner around blocks even when provided a soft edge.

Pay attention to how NG's hip level doesn't change as he performs the rip move, providing a ton of blockable surface area and eliminating the opportunity to corner. #Cowboys
Another nice play from Gallimore here. Shows impressive power on contact to knock back the C and reset the LOS. Also notice how he corkscrews his left foot to turn his hip and absorb the initial double. Violent shed and active pursuit to help finish the tackle. #Cowboys
Plays like these are what make Gallimore so intriguing. 3T with a 1v1 vs the LG. Explodes vertically out of his stance then executes and outside jab into a heavy club arm-over to win quick and pressure the QB. #Cowboys
This is what a 7.97 3-cone looks like in football form

When you see DAL's coaching staff talk about Gallimore's range upfront. Plays like this are the reason why. Impressive job to pursue down the LOS and track down the jet sweep. #Cowboys
Gallimore just plays too high with too much consistency. Causes his club to miss high and provides a large strike zone for the blocker.
Plays like this are why I think Gallimore is primarily a 3T for the #Cowboys. Get knocked off balance and pinned inside by the double.
Flash of brilliance from Gallimore here. Shows off power on contact and strong/sudden hands to shed before helping tackle the RB. #Cowboys
Bodied by another double from the nose tackle spot. Shade this man over a guard and let him work.
Given the way Oklahoma employs their front, Gallimore faced a ton of double when rushing the passer. Gallimore shows a lot of promise as a 1v1 pass rushers but many of his best rushes get stymied by the 2nd blockers in a double, as is the case on this play. #Cowboys
Another example, but this time it's the RB that prevet him turning disruption into production. Very nice jab-club-arm over to quickly defeat the center and pierce the pocket.

Liking Gallimore's 1v1 pass-rush ability more and more. #Cowboys
Gallimore's motor always runs hot. His effort level really is commendable. #Cowboys
Gallimore doesn't get a ton of traditional reps where he can stack and shed blocks at the LOS so it was nice to see a dominant rep like this.

Initiates contact with inside hands, peaks outside and uses a powerful shot put to shed and tackle the RB in the hole. One powerful dude.
THE Gallimore rep. Shows off hair-trigger get-off to put immediate pressure on the C. Quick stutter to set up a jab-club-arm over but clunky footwork causes him to trip and lose balance. But Gallimore still clubs the RB out of the way & chases down QB from behind to force fumble.
ooooohhh weeeeeeeee! This was an impressive chop-spin by Gallimore to defeat the C's block, pierce the pocket and sack the QB. Does a great job of clearing the hands before executing the spin. Impressive. #Cowboys
Another jab-club-arm over to generate pressure from Gallimore. Sets up the sack opportunity for his teammate. #Cowboys
Another example of Gallimore's impressive range for an iDL. #Cowboys
