the topic of drake having “ghost writers” is getting beyond now lemme do a thread explaining why this topic was brought into discussion at first place.

It all started with RICO by meek mill feat Drake. They had a beef later release of the summer hit because meek was thinking drake didn’t promote the song much and took out his frustration on Twitter claiming he his verse was ghost writing by Quentin miller (one of his team)

Despite of small contribution, QM was not originally listed as co-writer on the song in the meek mills album credits. Why? It is entirely possible that it was simply a mistake on the part of whomever was in charge if the album credits .
Important : QM and PND are credited for 10 bands, used to, know yourself, and legend on the albums credits IYRTITL. In this case, those tracks were not ghost written.
On july 24th 2015, QM released an open letter on tumblr regarding him being drake’s ghostwriter issue.

Drake is credited as co-writer for kanye west, puff daddy, lil wayne, alicia keys, rita ora, jamie fox, beyonce & dr dre. Also Eminem made it clear the “ghost writing” part on his song “fall” wasn’t abt drake when everybody immediately took the line was a direct shot at HIM.
