armys decided to trend a hashtag today.

Tariq Nasheed, a "social commentator", thought it would be brave to call us out by being sexist to black armys and racist to the Asian armys who used the hashtag #POCArmyBlockParty
he went from being sexist in his mention of "bedwenching", which is a term to describe "a black woman who dates white people, often accused of seeking privileges", (he's obviously referring to black army under the tag), to being racist by his mention of "bat soup" (asian army)
the tag wasn't being used by black armys in an attempt to not identify as "black" as he wrongly assumes.
the term POC means "person of color". the hashtag was to show the diversity of the bts fandom. not just black armys.

if he wanted to see black army identifying as black, the hashtag #BlackArmyBlockParty
was also trending today. many black armys used both tags.
what's more ridiculous in this is how he feels as though using the term POC to describe ourselves as black army is a way to escape being identified as "black".

POC literally refers to "any person who is not considered white". INCLUDES US.
just another person who seems to be having fun with all the engagements he's getting.

i really want to ignore but it's best to call these fools out.

block and report. don't engage.
