From the frontier wars which have left a deep and unhealed scar across this land, to the war against fascism and for democracy in WW2 to wars that we could not win and our soldiers and defence forces shouldn't have been in. #AnzacAtHome
Today is a day to reflect on family members who have served, who put their lives at risk for ideals that they believed in. Many of whom died for those ideals. #AnzacDay2020
It is also a day to remember our service people who have served in peacekeeping and humanitarian missions in Australia and abroad. They represent the best of Australia and they should never take a back seat in these commemorations. #peace
Today for me is a complicated day, I do not seek to glorify war. ANZAC Day is a reminder to all of us to not take the sacrifices of the past in vain and to work towards peace and justice in the world. #LestWeForget
