Time for an Unpopular Opinion: I bought AirPods Pro just after release, which means they also silently updated to the pulled 2C54 firmware. Some people think this update is awful and destroys the noise cancelling, but I think it’s perfect. It only cancels “background” noises.

It means you can hear someone speak to you, or a car accelerating. I also feel less head pressure, which is a common issue caused by noise cancellation.
This is all better compared to the shipping 2A364 version. Why was it pulled? Still unclear. But 2C54 is definitely better.
