Thread (1) Today is ANZAC Day back home. It is the day that marks the anniversary of the major campaign that led to major casualties for

during WW1. It also marks the day for all conflicts that have since followed.

(2) We pay our respects not only to those we have lost, but also to those who have served and those who continue to serve at home and in all countries around the world.
(3) We honour those who lost their lives in the service of our country and the individuals who found the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles.
(4) In memory of my dad and those men that served beside him, we thank you. You became his family and in turn then ours. Your service & sacrifices will not be forgotten.
