Basically people being like "haha pwned" without actually knowing what was said in the first place, and without looking into any of the details. Typical internet crap. Very disappointing when it's on a subject like this.

Refusing to look into the deets or know what's actually going on before going HAHA PWNED is exactly how bullshit like GamerGate takes off in the first place. This kind of game can be played from any source—including ones you think are on your side.
I have seen some legit criticisms going around, no doubt. They're not getting traffic though, and they don't refute the main point Gwen is trying to make here.

Another thing I'll say is this: If you think you're immune to being co-opted, that makes you extremely easy to co-opt.
