I really can’t stand leftist infighting, whether it’s Vaush vs Shaun on Bernie or Bust or Chapo Trap House getting cancelled for the thousandth time. This petty shit is the reason why we keep fucking losing. This is the reason why there’s no broad functioning leftist coalition.

We’re constantly distracted by tests of ideological purity, and whenever an ally fails some test, there’s a fracturing to our coalition. It makes us persistently weak and ineffective, and because it’s always so public, we look totally dysfunctional to potential recruits.

It needs to stop if we care about making progress. This doesn’t mean withholding critique, but we need to make sure the critiques we level against our allies are constructive and not destructive. We will die at the hands of fascists if we’re too fractured to organize against them
