Ok, imma complain about some companies real quick. If you don't want the drama please skip the tweets below
Bought a couple sims 4 stuff packs from BestBuy a few days ago. One code worked, the other didn't. I went through EA's (very quick, detailed, and caring) live chat to see if there was a problem on that end. There was not. I see my options for customer service through BestBuy.
the options through best buy are either calling their number or going through their forums and waiting days for an answer. i hate phone calls, so i chose the latter. First off, I find a very interesting thread of a few people complaining of purchasing digital currency
(mostly for apex legends) and the codes being broken. Took 3 weeks to get a fix, the thread is marked as fixed, then after the "official" post of the fix, the same people in the thread all posted that it was bs, the codes weren't fixed, and they had to fight to get refunds
Posted there and went through talking to their digital codes issues person on there, they tell me there is a problem with the code and i can get a refund. Great, mostly. Mainly, i'm saying you shouldn't buy digital codes from bestbuy because they have a significant chance of not
working. I'd also like to add that I think it's incredibly irresponsible of BestBuy to keep these digital code listings up, especially when they're having this many problems with them. While my issue happened a few days ago, the other issue described happened in October.
If you can't reliably sell something, don't list it on your store. That should be common sense.
