It's time to debunk the stupidest trope out there.

"Hillary lost because she was a terrible candidate and people hated her so much that they would've voted for anyone over her."
The rewriting of history is an incredible gift to @realDonaldTrump.

HILLARY WON THE POPULAR VOTE.

Obviously people didn't hate her so much that they would've voted for anyone besides her.

And she WASN'T a terrible candidate.
Hillary made the same strategic mistake that the Democrats and the media--sorry for the repetition--are making now.

Hillary assumed that she had it in the bag.

In the ironies of all ironies, the dynamic today is EXACTLY what it was in 2016.
In 2016, nobody blamed Trump for the country's economic woes...AND THEY DON'T THIS TIME AROUND EITHER.

Even if we haven't recovered in November, the voters will not blame Trump.

The only difference in November will be that Trump will have proven himself.
I predict that in November, Trump will have proven himself TWICE.

The key is that people are REJECTING the paycheck protection plan and are preferring unemployment insurance.

And that means they aren't facing catastrophe.

They're going to wait for the economy to recover.
And THAT means that people fully expect Trump to do AGAIN what he did in his first term.

Trump's advantages are that he's the incumbent.

Out of 19 incumbent presidents, only 5 lost.
