Well Michael's update since I'm back:
We have a little more precaution now at least so that's good however uhh. This company is still terrible and our store manager was catching us up on what we missed during the """"shut down"""" and sounded like she was going to-
Have a breakdown while telling us this stuff.
We were averaging 200 BOPIS orders a *day* and only had 3 people for a 7 hour period of time
This does not include ship from store which was averaging 70-90 orders a day
We are still the only store open in our entire shopping center of 10 stores. Not only are we open but they gave my manager 16 hours to prep to get the store open.
My manager came in at 5 a.m to bust her ass off and 1 minute before the store opened, the district-
Manager called and told her they did not have the legal go ahead to reopen all the stores and to wait. Every single other store opened the following day. She made our store open at noon despite still not being ready
They have been suffering with only 4 people a day (they re-opened monday) until today which as I type this is friday. The first day of being open we had $10k in sales in a 7 hour period. That is about double what we make on one black friday
District manager came to visit and was complaining that the store wasnt clean and asked why it hasnt been touched despite knowing all the orders we had and how understaffed we are.
I'm gonna end this thread with something she said because I think it sums everything up
"I'm tired of people, I'm tired of this company, I'm fired of our district manager. The other day I showed up 20 minutes early but walked in 10 minutes late because-
I stayed in my car 10 extra minutes debating on if it was worth coming in."
So uhhh yeah. Michael's sucks.
