art is art and no art is wrong

on twitter you see a lot of people getting mad at people for making certain art. this art is usually shota or loli, which the majority of people are upset at for it being a "gateway to pedophilia"

this simply isn't the case. while many shota and loli enthusiasts are degenerates, this doesn't make the artist a bad person. i am not defending pedophilia, nor am i consuming shota and loli, i am defending the artists who can draw what they want

art is art, while extremely subjective, art should be whatever the artist wants it to be. on twitter, we can't have creative freedom though. yes, i see why people are upset at depictions of young nude children, but the artist isn't a pedophile just because that's what they make

funnier thing is that the statue of david is a depiction of a naked child, but it's world renowned. was michelangelo a pedophile just because he made this statue? fuck no, he was a brilliant artist

no matter what you use your art for, it isn't wrong. you aren't a bad person for making controversial art, and you aren't a pedophile for drawing shota or loli, it's just what you want to make

i am going to close this thread off saying that people who get off to shota and loli are degenerates, but the artist isn't.

and no, i don't like shota or loli, that's fucked up. artists of this sort aren't fucked up unless there are other variables
