A brief thread on why you SHOULDN'T invest too much time in looking at your crush/S.O's chart to understand the condition of your own relationships

SO. I'm a Libra w a Scorpio Moon. When I crush on someone, I crush HARD and usually become totally obsessed in the blink of an eye

A lot of the time I'll grab my crush's birth chart after the first few dates (if not before! last time i hooked up with someone i finessed their birth time during the act!) and just love to dive straight into it whenever possible

THAT'S NOT HEALTHY! It is SO easy to project yourself and your own life affairs into someone *else's* birth chart when you're super into them--not like anyone does it on purpose, but shit happens!

Example: last fling i had was someone experiencing his venus return the day we met up for the first time. Transiting Mars, Jupiter, and Pluto were very close to an exact trine to his venus, too. Sounds perfect, right?

The sex was great. We both agreed that the chemistry we shared was amazing. We both opened up and had deeeeeep heart to hearts over the span of a couple of weeks and bitch I was convinced HE WAS THE ONE

Saturn in Aqua was also forming a trine to his 5th house Jupiter in Libra. Bitch I was ready to get married. I was obsessed.

Our synastry is great, too! My Venus sextile his many Cancer placements, my MC conjunct his Venus, my Sun exactly trine his MC and a ton of other cool things going on!

Well lets flash forward to NOW: Coronavirus happened, we both in quarantine, and haven't talked in weeks. The planets said

I don't need to look at his chart to see what happened. that's HIS life. There are 7 billion ppl on this planet, and despite the beautiful wonderful time I shared with him, allllll of those transits may be reflective of someone *else* he encountered.

Unfortunately, it's not the world according to Jake, and I keep having to make myself step back and realize that other people have an entire life of their own, rich with their own *personal* experiences and choices, and I can't be a part of the equation 100% of the time

Neptune is chilling in my 7th house. Has been for years, and it'll stay there for many years to come. It's also forming a quincunx to my Libra Sun. The only planets in my 5th house are Jupiter in its fall, and Pluto.

Venus is in my 10th house--CAREER. Mars and Saturn are in my 6th house--WORK. Jupiter, ruler of my 7th house, is only receiving transits from the Sun and Uranus, both of which are in my 9th--PUBLISHING/MEDIA (aka my job as a writer).

Additionally I'm in a 12th house year (Leo, ruled by my Sun in the 2nd house). Relationships and love are not and *should not* be my focus now--I'm busy as fuck and have a ton of work on my plate. But at least I'm making stacks!

So my love life/relationships just aren't popping off now even though I was having a blast getting it on a few weeks ago. And that's okay! Kind of I guess idk

In short: Life is crazy, love is weird, and relationships are complicated. Even if you are CONSUMED by how much you love someone, they don't necessarily feel the same way.

Looking at their chart and transits is great to understand what they're experiencing, but you simply cant personalize it and try to make it all about you!
