Speaking of the @SBAgov @SBAJovita
yesterday’s @SBAOIG report is - it’s a warning to the SBA and it serves as a place marker of the SBA’s horrid history of cronyism, mismanagement and lack of actual oversight
If I were a reporter, I would keep an eye on this and the PPP distro
I mean y’all see what the “key findings” are, right?
In DC speak this is;
We are laying down our marker now.
We are aware of the shit you pulled and when called before Congress we (the OIG) will be in total CYA mode
https://www.sba.gov/about-sba/oversight-advocacy/office-inspector-general/reports
The fact that yesterday the @SBAOIG quietly released their report and then embedded the 6+ previous audits & investigations
Welp that means in “DC talk” we see you and when Congress calls on us we will uphold our oaths
I’m 100% confident there have been numerous complaints filed
If you haven’t figured out by now, the the pictures I embed the links so it doesn’t eat up the 240 character limitations but just in case, see the SBA-OIG report
It would be smart for editors to assign a reporter to watch this space.

I get it that OIG reports are sexy nor offer clickbait teasers.
Those of us in DC, we know the OIG reports are filled with FACTS
For example
Has @SBAJovita issued a criminal referral to the DOJ to prosecute this recipient?
Who defrauded the Govt of>$285K
https://www.sba.gov/sites/default/files/oig/SBA-OIG-Report-19-20.pdf
Which brings us full circle to the 1st tweet in this thread
CARES ACT funds $25M for the same type of service.
Since @SBAJovita refused to address this Sept 2019 OIG report >$285K, how the hell can we trust her or her agency with $25M sans oversight?
