Yea everybody wanna be a rapper, but do you have the motivation and drive to keep making music despite not getting attention in the beginning
A lot of times people rap because they want to live the same lavish life they see many of these entertainers living, but itâs really all based off of perspective, cause a lot of them are miserable.
Basing your career off of the metric of your competition is idiotic, because theres always gonna be somebody better than you and who gets more attention. In reality you should be competing against yourself, making sure each day your better than your previous.
This dosent just go for the music industry but all fields of life. Motivating yourself off others or money or popularity will only get you so far, because you only see growth through basing ideals off yourself not other people.
Idk why I felt the need to tweet this but I really just came to this realization while making my beats. Iâve been so proud of my growth throughout the last 2 years but I used to block myself in basing what Iâm doing of other competition.
When in reality Iâve grown a lot, Iâm at the point where Iâm making money off something I love doing and is fun. Focusing on just what I do, helps me see my growth and I know imma be recognized for it in the long run, thatâs not even one of my worries.
So In conclusion, whatever your doing rn stick to it because your dedication to that project or endeavor in itself is an accomplishment cause you coulda quit at any time. Thatâs it for my Ted Talk
