Surah Al-Hujurat emphasis on the importance of Akhlaq and respect toward the Prophet(SAW) and I feel we could all learn a lot from this chapter.

So here’s a 🧵 of 3 benifical messages I’ve learnt from this Surah. May Allah make it easier for us to gain knowledge this month.🤍
(1️⃣) The first part of the Surah focuses on the respect and obedience we should show to our prophet (SAW) e.g.Not raising our voices or speaking over him as we do to each other(49:2)

As well as taking his speech as revelation from Allah (SWT)and being wary of random news(49:6)
(2️⃣) The second part of Surah centres around the treatment of fellow Muslims. Considering the nature of social media and society today this I feel like this part is very very relevant and important so I’ll emphasis this part.
The 9th ayah highlights the importance of fair treatment within all sorts of conflict Allah says:
“Be fair. Indeed! Allah loves those who are equitable.”(49:9) Following this Allah says: “The belivers are brothers,so make peace between your two brothers and be mindful of God-
so that you may be given mercy.”(49:10).
We’ve seen the normalisation of verbal and physical conflict even though we know our lord hates conflict between us. Inshallah we use this Ramadan to better ourselves and be blessed with Allah’s mercy.
If you’ve gotten this far I’m sure you’ve gotten bored reading now so I’ll let you ponder over the 11th with a video :)) 😭
(3️⃣) Lastly the Surah repeats the importance of honouring our prophet (saw),each other and also our creator Allah (SWT).
“Indeed, the most honorable of you to Allah is that [one] who fears Allah. Indeed, Allah is all knowing, All-Aware.”(49:13) This ayah also establishes-
that we were made into different races and tribes so that we could recognise one another. However, we still see people with superiority complexes within the ummah even though this ideology is non-existent within Islam. May Allah guide us all.
Overall, the Surah centres around ‘Honour’. Firstly honouring the prophet (SAW), honouring each other as we are all brothers and sisters in Islam, this ultimately results to us gaining ‘Tawqa’ meaning conscious of a greater being (Allah) and with this we gain the mercy of Allah.
SubhanAllah and what is greater than Allah’a mercy.

May we all be blessed with the mercy of Al-Rahim and be those who act on the sunnah of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم.

I hope you all gained some sort knowledge and benefit from this thread.🥺🥺❤️❤️❤️
