We have a goal to feed 100 families next Friday May 1st. Which is coincidentally International Workers Day. This is 100 families of people who have been laid off and facing severe backlog and lack

Of resources.

If we work together we can make sure #MayDay is beautiful in the most revolutionary way, feeding the people.

We need:

about BZ $1276 ($638 usd) for enough food for 100 bags. Not considering bags or gas.

*Where we are with donations*

- There has been a total of $1498 in donations.

- $1000 from the gofundme has not transferred yet and will not complete until the April 30th

- Bella's Apothecary (me) has lended money to the program so that people do not have to wait for food while banks take their time.

- There has been a total of $802 usd spent on food to be delivered and transportation fees thus far

- There is $696 usd in the budget to move forward. That’s only enough for next weeks drop to 100 people.

Also, My heart goes out to fundraisers. Let me tell you how much work it is to try and secure funding weekly to feed 100 or more people. I’m nervous too, really want to be able to help them and scared that I can’t if I don’t get the support to do so.

I wish some rich celebrity/company would just give us like $10k to feed 100 families a week until #Covid_19 runs its course & things normalize so people can get their bearings enough to get food to eat. Until then, I gotta ask y’all for help.
