In NYC, most free parking spots are the size of my last apartment's bedroom (and many storage units). Which are far from affordable.
I've never had enough money to practically consider owning a car—from the town i grew up in thru college and now NYC—but I've never wanted our streets seriously changed in a structural way until now.
