I asked before the Corona crisis if there was any correlation between a reduction in local crimes with an increase in sports betting or otherwise. What if the loss of income from sports betting or managing sports betting shops is what has led to the recent Lagos crime wave??

I think there is a tremendous opportunity to refactor sports betting as an industry in Nigeria or other parts of Africa into a way for people to invest in small businesses. What if instead of a league you are watching the performance of equities in a market? NYSE is my betting.

It can even be watching people play FIFA games online and betting on them. This is already MASSIVE outside Africa.
