I will be more than happy to jump on the "Hassan Diab Represents me" bandwagon if he concedes, at least in passing, that having an armed state within a state, bent on antagonizing the country whose currency we are begging for, is part of the problem.

Absent that, we can call him many things, but we can't call him "independent", "strong" or "non-partisan". Maybe he's doing the best he can with the cards he's dealt --and I do sense sincere effort-- but make no mistakes whose influence he's working under...
