Several people were asking about our "syntactic search by example" paper, so here it is:
https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/syntactic-search-paper.pdf">https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/syntactic...
There& #39;s also a web-based system you can play with to search over Wikipedia: https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/ ">https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/">...
And a quick intro for people who know NLP/Syntax/Comp-ling: https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/md/ling-intro ">https://spike.wikipedia.apps.allenai.org/md/ling-i...
We& #39;ve had this system for a while now internally at AI2 and BIU, and I found myself reaching for it surprisingly often. It& #39;s fun. I am curious to see if others will find it useful as well.
This is also just the beginning, a smaller part of a larger effort around information and relation extraction. There& #39;s more to come.
