If I could rationalize the Jordyn Brooks pick in terms of his strengths and how they help Seattle:
--He excels at sound tackling and TFLs. Seahawks were awful at both last year.
--Run defense is a major plus for him. Seahawks are coming off worst run defense under Carroll.

I'm not going to pretend I am doing cartwheels celebrating this as a great pick, but I can understand some of the Seahawks' rationale here. There's clearly more to it than just "Wagner and Wright are in their 30s and they need to think long-term at LB."
