To avoid rushing to my phone whenever I hear a ding and realize that’s my carrier texting me, I tend to save up all of their odd text numbers to CARRIER contact, and mute everything.

Hell broke loose when it merged with another contact in messages.

I had to delete every single number saved from CARRIER. And only after some struggle was I able to separate them. Now, my actual contact (not carrier) won’t update its name, etc.

It remains untouched on my Contact list.

Why do I keep these messages and label them accordingly? Because the carrier is shitty and they send the complaint tickets number via text (among promos, etc). It’s my only proof of trying to solve a problem. Heck, I don’t even know how to explain this.

I have created this thread on here, and the feedback to Apple is still doing whatever on my Outbox. It’s been over 10min now.
