The White House staff (including #Trump), does not get to decide where reporters sit. The @whca does. This is clearly T trying to punish CNN for its coverage. He can more easily ignore the back of the room than he can the front rows. Ew.

Hahn starts his presentation by saying #Trump ordered the FDA to remove as many "barriers" as they could so tests, etc. could get approved and "out to the market" as fast as possible.

Not to the PEOPLE. The MARKET.

Also: Which barriers, EXACTLY, did you dodge, bro?

Hahn: There is transparency on our website about those tests and what we've authorized--

Seriously, y'all. #Trump just cut off the head of the FDA so that he couldn't finish answering a question about whether the antibody tests coming to market will be safe, accurate or have even been *seen* by the FDA.

We're about to see branded Trump Antibody tests, aren't we.

Pence: As we do more tests, we will see more cases of #Covid19 but people should not be discouraged by those numbers.

Because you're going to artificially keep them low by preventing as many tests as you can, right?

Unless they came in late, I don't see Birx or Fauci anywhere in the room. That means there is NOBODY IN THE ROOM who understands the science behind testing and tracking pandemic data.

To be fair, Hahn does have an MD and a background in oncology research, which is nothing to sneeze at. But he has no professional experience with outbreaks, pandemics, virology, etc. THAT is the expertise we need in the room right now.
