Today I want to talk to you about the bone rush in paleogenomics. This unsustainable culture of science has gone on for far too long & I for one am uncomfortable standing idly by and watching colonial enterprises and academia vandalize my ancestors #DecolonizeDNA

More ancient genomes were sequenced in 2019 than in all of history. This leads to the destruction of ancient remains, many of whom are Indigenous ancestors. Who does this benefit? How did our ancestors end up in cold, dust filled drawers in the first place? #DecolonizeDNA
