Right here’s the start. Inshallah we are visiting a different closed mosque everyday in an effort to try raise money to build a masjid in Tamale, Ghana. We can provide a mosque to a community that desperately need it.

Night 1: Sulemaniye Mosque. My local. A lot of memories and familiar faces. Uncles and brothers that make me smile every time I see them. Also one of the many reasons I love the Turkish language (lingo lingo). So subdued now that it’s closed. May Allah allow it to open soon. – at Suleymaniye Mosque London
Night 2: ELM. What would’ve been filled with thousands of people and a market round the back, is now silent. How eerie it is to see the most known mosque in the UK be so still. SubhanAllah this one hit me. May Allah allow ELM to open its doors once again.
Night 3: Brick Lane Masjid. The hub of Bengali uncles all over East London. However, tonight, it is empty. The street was still well lit and they’ve still got their minaret light thing so it’s not got that gloomy feel but still. May Allah allow the masjid to be packed again soon!
