3/7 Some are #HealthcareHeroes who have rushed in to help. This is one family’s story with a poem to a hero Mom who is a nurse, recently reassigned to care for #COVID19 patients in a nursing home in Nova Scotia. #OlderAdults #ProtecttheVulnerable

4/7 Mom, Michelle, like so many #HealthcareHeroes, worries about her family. To minimize risk to her children & husband, she is staying in a hotel for the duration of her work assignment as she saves lives on the frontlines of #COVID19. #ProtecttheVulnerable

My Mom is a hero,
she’s been there from the start.
Since the day we were born,
she’s held us in her heart.

She gives us so much,
even when she has none.
She takes our sad days,
and turns them into fun.
