Here& #39;s my personal feedback: A thread

So, I randomly decided I wanted to write a retelling of Sonic Adventure out of random spontaneous inspiration.

As of this tweet 4 acts were written.
Introductions for Knuckles, Sonic, Tails, and E102, in my interpretation of event order.
As of the 20 pages I& #39;ve written, I& #39;ve gotten up to Casinopolis for both Tails and Sonic. Knuckles hasn& #39;t appeared sense I wrote my interpretation of his opening cutscene and E102& #39;s entire introduction after his first battle with E101.

Give you guys a good idea where I& #39;m at.
I wrote this as adaptation for comic form so events play are differently and altered to remove gamey elements and tell a cohesive story.

As of this thread, I wrote the plot verbatum, give or take, line alterations and the finer details of events changed.
My current big dilemma has been 2 things.

One, I feel I stuck too closely to the script of the game. I did alter a few lines to my liking but for the most part, it feels more like a adaptation then a re-imagining.

Why is this important? See next tweet.
Because, IF I decide to do a comic, my 2nd dilemma will be that I might want to take creative liberties anyways with the art style and not draw on model.

I feel like writing the story as it& #39;s written with a different art style from official wouldn& #39;t work. here.
So I& #39;m thinking i might have to do major contextualizing events to better fit my own art style and reflect that this is not a simple adaptation or retelling but a alternate universe re-imagining that just so happens to follow events as they played out in main timeline.
