There's this enduring myth around the far left that the right ideology is the key to organizing the working class. This is wrong.

You don't organize with ideology, but with actions. Help people with their everyday lives. Provide community, with opportunities for people to grow.
If you want to read about organizing the working class, go read about machine politics in "Plunkitt of Tammany Hall", not Marx or whoever else.
Almost everything the intellectual far left does (or doesn't do) - from the priorities they advocate to the values they think poor people have - makes the most sense if you view it as upper class hobbyism, not as actual work towards organizing a revolution.
