1/4 Half of me still can’t believe trees like this exist just a few hours from where I live.

The other half can’t believe we still cut them down for money.

2/4 People and communities have been fighting to protect these giants for decades, and last year, the BC government announced a review of the province’s broken forest policies.

3/4 And this spring and summer, in the midst of this public health crisis and unprecedented changes it’s bringing, the @bcndp government will decide what to do about non-renewable old-growth forests.

4/4 This is such a critical time to bombard provincial law-makers with the demand that they stop talking and start protecting forests.
