I'll never get the point of hardcore Shia men marrying Wahabi/Deobandi women and expecting their children to follow Shia faith. If that was so important then why did you marry a non-Shia in the first place? Why expect an adult woman to give it up all while you go all Shia

<Back in 2011, I received a proposal where the guy divorced his Sunni wife (love marriage) cuz she refused to brought up their daughter on Shia lines. Acc to him, she should have converted. He wanted to remarry to teach Shia'ism to her daughter on weekends when visiting daddy.>

<A close friend of mine married his Sunni class fellow and after 2 sons, told us that he regrets. He regrets that his sons won't carry the Shia faith. I had to remind him that he married by choice. But no!
