while the wait in the wings video about beetlejuice was absolutely devastating, it's important to remember that it's not exactly an official source. we still don't really know anything, about what's going to happen. not just with beetlejuice, but with all shows.

also unfortunately the barrymore theatre talk was just a rumor. an article had mentioned it, and then everybody on social media kinda just went with it. alex may have hinted towards something during his livestreams but i may be wrong (mostly bc i always miss them.)

aside from that none of the actors really said anything abt it as far as i know (again correct me if i'm wrong.) for all i know it could also be a hush hush thing & the actors can't say anything until contracts are signed bc of legality & they don't wanna give us false hope.

anyway the point of this thread is that we can't really jump to conclusions, and assume they're over for good. i know things are scary right now, but i'm still trying to hold on to the smallest bit of hope as silly as it may seem.

like i said before we don't know anything about any of the shows that are on broadway. and even if btj doesn't come back there's still the national tour which isn't the same but national tours are still great for people who can't afford to go to nyc.

also mti claimed the rights to beetlejuice so local theatres can put on the show.
