Letâs break down the post: the halving is not a result of how #Bitcoin
is built. Itâs intentionally part of how itâs built in order to wind down the supply growth rate. It is designed to periodically get twice as hard to mine.

Quantitative easing vs. quantitative tightening
? #Bitcoin
Bitcoin falls into the latter. The harder it is to mine, the less supply we have, whereas the government can just print
.

What should we expect this time around
? Quite a bit. Like, for example, Bitcoinâs inflation rate will fall below the 2% inflation rate target of central banks
for the very first time.
Again, youâll get a full explanation in the post.

Now youâre like âyeah, but is the price going to go up or what?â Historically, halvings are accumulation events. It shows the stability of the protocol and investors want in/more, driving the price up...a lot
.

Over time, weâve also seen huge infrastructure developments and awareness
, as well as upward price indicators in the long run.

And a lot of big thinkers
believe that events, data, and value metrics are already baked in to the price of #Bitcoin
. What do you think? Attractive, right? Considering all of these complexities makes it seen as a store of value.

Plus, look at the timing. #Bitcoin
was introduced right as the US went into the 2008 recession. Now weâre in a literal pandemic. The traditional market bull run isn't so
.
And Bitcoin is a #decentralized, digital, disinflationary asset.

What do you think?
