(Thread) If you take a step away from the mainstream, (of Vampire films) there's a load of much more interesting stuff going on in the rather long shadow cast by the Twilight & Underworld franchises...
Contemporary mainstream cinema, out of necessity, has a tendency to make films palatable to a much wider audience, and in doing so loses a lot of nuance along the way - so, if you're interested in Vampire films, and fancy something a little different...
...here's a list of a few to check out. It isn't exhaustive, they're just my personal favourites from the ones I've watched in lockdown, so far. (Thanks to those who recommended films too, really appreciated it đź–¤)
